Our Mission & Vision
Loving God — Loving People
At Cornerstone Worship Center, it is our desire to CONNECT with God and others to God; GROW individually and within families; SERVE in ministry and missions.
We believe that Cornerstone Worship Center exists for the following purposes:
Here at CWC, we are a community of believers who have been saved by the mercy and grace of a loving savior.
Our desire to take His message of love and mercy to our community and surrounding areas of Lane county.
It doesn't matter what you've done, where you come from or who you are, Jesus loves you and so do we.
(Matthew 28:19; Luke 19:10, Mark 16:15; Psalm 96:3)
Here at CWC, we believe that we are more than just a once or twice a week event. We are a family, a community of believers who want to connect with you and your family.
We desire to grow closer to God through praise and worship, through the word and in fellowship with each other.
Here at CWC, we want to be a community that shows our faith in the way we live our lives and treat each other. We call it JESUS MINISTY!
Jesus reached people by responding and meeting their needs and touching their lives. As a local family of believers we purposefully set out to be His hands and Feet.
What to Expect
WE LOOK FORWARD TO MEETING YOU!
We’ve put together some information here that attempts to anticipate and briefly answer some of the questions you may have prior to visiting our church for the first time:
AtmosphereIt's important to us that you feel welcome when visiting. We hope the atmosphere will help you feel relaxed, comfortable but most importantly we want you to feel the presence and love of the Lord. The music and worship are built around Biblical themes that are timeless. We are glad to have you join us in worship! You will be greeted and welcomed.
Family FriendlyNo matter your family dynamics, you're welcome at Cornerstone Worship Center and we're excited for you to consider being a part of our church family! Our intent is to serve your whole family. During our worship service we have care available for infants and children. Your children will receive real spiritual training from a group of caring leaders during this time.
SermonFrom the pulpit you will hear sound biblical preaching and teaching. Each sermon is built and based on biblical truth.
Biblical TeachingWe place a high priority on the preaching and teaching of God's Word. The worship service is a time for us to come together as a community to learn, be encouraged and to be challenged by God's Word. Other opportunities exist beyond our Sunday worship service where families have a chance to grow, fellowship, and be a part of a church family that lives out our faith together.
We are internationally recognized as an evangelical and Pentecostal movement with a historical identity and credibility. Cornerstone Worship Center is a charter member of the Pentecostal Church of God and cooperates with its commissions and agencies.

Steve DeFoyd | Lead Pastor
Pastor Steve has been the lead Pastor here at Cornerstone Worship Center since April of 2017. From a young boy God has had His hand on him. At the age of 7 he was miraculously healed of crone’s disease and ever since then he’s felt the call of ministry on his life.
Since preaching his first sermon at the age of 14, Pastor Steve’s greatest passion and desire is to see God change the lives of His people.
Pastors Steve’s prayer is to see the Veneta and Lane county area transformed into a region that healing, restoration and miracles become commonplace. Through anointed worship, preaching an uncompromised gospel and authentic connections with God’s people we will see God do great things!
